Years ago former Fox News commentator Bill O’Riley, playing the “Devil’s advocate”, ask Franklin Graham how can it be fair that Jesus is the only way. In John 14:6 it say, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  Christ stated that He is the only WAY to the Father; this is a stumbling block to many. They consider this UNFAIR, that it excludes many from salvation, and therefore cannot be God’s plan.

But, it is the only way that IS FAIR compared to the many man-made “plans of salvation” offered. Consider Buddhism with its ultimate goal in life to achieve “Enlightenment” through the “Four Noble Truths” and the “Eightfold Path.”  Or Mormonism and its gospel of works that leads, not to salvation, but “Exaltation” as evidenced in the following: The President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints holds the keys of salvation for all men now living because he is the only one by whose authorization the sealing power of the priesthood can be used to seal up men to salvation and exaltation in the kingdom of God. The Bible says God’s grace appears to all men (Titus 2:11.) How? There is 1) the GENERAL REVELATION OF GOD IN NATURE. He is seen in the Material Universe (Romans 1:20; Psalm 19:1-4). God has placed in man an Inner Witness (Romans 1:19; 2:15). This is evident from the Universal Belief in the Existence of God/a god. All cultures through the centuries give evidence of the belief in a supreme being who they seek to reach (Acts 10:1-5). Also, there is 2) the WRITTEN REVELATION OF GOD IN SCRIPTURE (John 14:6.) Acts 4:12 – Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

God’s way, the only way, is fair, just and within reach of all. But, There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Proverbs 14:12
